l Nido dell’Aquila uses only genuine products from the Garfagnana region and preserves an authentic taste of tradition by preparing each dish with the same dedicated care our mothers and grandmothers had when creating our favorite meals.

Try our specialties:
wood oven baked bread on every table, chestnut bread, cornbread and delicious, crispy fried dough that you can taste when ordering our special “antipasto.”

 Our first courses include homemade tortelli (large, stuffed ravioli), pappardelle (flat pasta) and ravioli.

 The entrees offer a choice of grilled meat, wild boar, roasts cooked in our wood burning stove and, to top off this delicacy, choose from the various flavors of our mouthwatering homemade pies.

 Satisfy your appetite and treat yourself to a nice pizza, dough rolled out by hand, that remains amongst the many musts for dinner. The rough part is choosing which flavor to order!

The Merendino is the perfect solution if you are hurry to go to hiking, or if you just made the trip and you fell a little puckish.

Cold meats, Pecorino cheese, big bruschetta and fried dough.

Vegetarian Merendino:
Three kinds of Cheese, big bruschetta and fried dough.

Panzerotti:
Ham, fried dough and “stracchino” cheese.
